In this romantic comedy, Rosalind falls in love at first sight with Orlando. Being banished from the palace by her uncle, Rosalind flees to the forest of Arden with her best friend and cousin, Celia. The plot thickens when the two girls, disguised as young gentlemen, find expressions of Orlando's love for Rosalind throughout the forest. Will Rosalind's disguise distract Orlando from finding his true love, or will things be made right in the end with her true love agreeing to wed?
